Nalaikh District Cultural Palace
The Nalaikh District Cultural Palace was established in 1959 under the name “Cultural Palace of the Miners,” and it now operates with a staff of 30 people, aiming to provide diverse cultural activities to over 36,000 citizens of Nalaikh District in an inclusive and accessible manner.
To preserve and pass on national culture and arts, the Cultural Palace offers classes in traditional Mongolian arts such as Morin Khuur (horsehead fiddle), long songs (Urtyn duu), folk music, dance, drama, and graphic arts.
Additionally, every Friday at 7:00 PM, a public social dance is held.
The Cultural Palace also provides services to local residents through its Regional Studies Hall and Library.
In an effort to provide youth with a proper and positive way to spend their free time and to nurture their talents, the “GENIUS” club was established. This club invites young people interested in singing, dancing, and acting to participate. “GENIUS” club organizes a variety of events, including “Cover Night” parties, the “Cultural Arts Hour” program on Buyan Nalaikh TV, and member meetups for learning from each other. Many activities are planned, and children and young people are warmly invited to join.
